With great pleasure I welcome you to Leyamma Memorial College of Nursing, a renowned nursing educational institution with a history of training GNM students for last 52 years. It has been upgraded to conduct B Sc Nursing program from 2022 academic year as approved by Indian Nursing Council, Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council and Govt. of Kerala and is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. With the motto  “We Live by Faith” , we are committed to provide competency based education focused on clinical judgement, critical thinking and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The College is adequately furnished with necessary infrastructure facilities, laboratories, and a rich library with latest books, journals and e-journals. We have adequate number of highly qualified and experienced nursing faculty who ensure quality education in a student friendly environment. The laboratories are well-equipped with models, simulators/manikins and equipment to facilitate skill-based learning. The curriculum is well-designed to transform the students to competent nurse professional through innovative teaching learning strategies and also ensure overall development of the learners. The students undergo clinical training in Mandiram Hospital, a multispecialty charitable mission hospital (NABH accredited) located within the same campus. The integrated classroom and clinical teaching learning process enhance confidence among students to meet international standards in terms of quality of nursing education and healthcare services.

The Student Hostel within the campus provide 100% accommodation and is adequately furnished for the comfortable stay of each student.

We emphasize on the holistic personality development of the student by not only concentrating on academics but also involving them in co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
