Chairman’s Message
Mr. Jacob Abraham
CHAIRMAN
(MUNDAKAPADAM MANDIRAMS SOCIETY)
I wish to extend a warm welcome to all the students who are seeking admission to the Leyamma Memorial College of Nursing, for the academic year 2022-2023. You will be the first batch of students enrolling for the BSc Nursing programme.
Having gained over five decades of experience in Nursing Education we are delighted to be upgrading our Diploma programme to a Collegiate programme. There is no doubt that the Degree level programme will better the prospects of students through gainful and fulfilling employment in India and overseas, especially in a post covid era where professional Nursing support is in great demand.
We are committed to provide quality education to the students through our well equipped Laboratories, Libraries and Clinical facilities. We have a team of qualified and dedicated teaching faculty who will bring out the best in the students. Our focus will not only be academic excellence but also help students to enhance their self confidence and all-round personality development. Our efforts will be to empower the students to succeed in their life and make a lasting impact in the wider society.
The College is a unit of the Madiram Society which is a Christian charity established in 1933 in Manganam, Kottayam, to serve the poor and the downtrodden. Sister Leyamma in whose memory the Nursing Education started in 1961 in Mandiram Hospital has inspired thousands of students and every student who come to our portals in future will become part of our heritage.
